jolyn dislikes long profiles, they reveal too much, and where's the enigma in that? apart from that, jolyn is also an ugly monster, and if you have something against ugly people, then well, too bad.

jolyn adores music, androgynous boys, shark(boy)s, pink spiders, robots, black and red, the word 'awesome', musicians, and referring to herself as the third person, a trait she picked up from uncle goh.

yesterday was super fun. had an hour long guitar lesson, and teacher was kinda pissed cos my mind was elsewhere. ): but he reassured me that he's not.

after that i went piano recital with mel. i took many gay pictures =D i met mel first, and we walked around waiting for the 4 other people to turn up. then kuan git called and said he's reaching and we walked all the way from suntec to the mrt station. on the way there, i took a picture of a mannequin :P the shopkeeper was staring at me la, so i snapped a shot and ran away.

oh ya, mel took a picture of a guy on his stuntbike. immediately after that she passed the cam to me, and the guy went "oi, why you never take my friend?!" to me. the guy's friend wanted to smack him. muahaha hot eh?

then we walked back to suntec, and albert messaged us saying he had arrived, then we bought dinner and went to find siying, who called. in total, i think i walked from suntec to mrt and back again for a total of four to five times :D we made a "birthday present" for albert, consisting of 5 straws. a ninja sword.

he told us he was in marina square, and he had no idea how to get to esplanade. we panicked, and ran around the entire esplanade. we had to be seated before 7.30 la. and it was already 7.20. thank god kuangit is streetsmart, and told us to walk the right way or else we would have t wait until an interval before we can go in.

the first part of the concert was boring. they had strings (cello, violin, double bass etc) and brass and percussion. the percussion guy was cool. but he didn't play much in the first song. he was waiting and waiting. i didn't dare talk at all, under the scrutiny of the other people in the audience. siying told me some trumpet guy was sleeping, but i didn't see ): so sad.

then the mari kodama woman went onstage. the conductor had so much passion, he was jerking around like a bad dancer. i was afraid he would fall off the stage and end up with a broken spine. the mari woman is scary okay! LIKE WTF. super skinny, like noodle. and she was taller than the conductor himself.

play play play for an hour, and *yawn* time for interval. interval was 20 minutes. that was the fun part. we stood around, and took gay pictures.

albert and his "birthday present" ninja sword. please do not tell me he looks like yinwei from RI. yes, i know that already. and he is super nice =D

then i dared mel to go up to the ang moh guy with his girlfriend and touch his botak head and say "your hair very nice". but nobody did it ): YA THE BOTAK GUY IS IN THE PICTURE./ SEE?

the toilet super cool looking okay! and then the next part is the concert. this time, mari kodama never play. only the conductor, and the strings, and brass, percussion. i don't know if there are woodwinds or not, because i didn't see any clarinets. this part is the nicest. it made me want to play the violin la. you should see, the violinists all sychronised their moves, all so together. not like the cello. i like it when they play really fast and loudly. the conductor continued to jerk around, spasming every few seconds. reminds me of chye.

then the concert ended at around 10. everyone clapped for a long long time. over 5 minutes. my hands were aching, and not once did the clapping stop. they played a bit more, and the conductor (same like mari kodama) walked in and out in and out in and out of the door. he went in and out for four times. mel and i planned to shout ENCORE ENCORE but we didn't dare. the guy behind was glaring when i talked to siying la.

and then we went outside, the esplanade there to walk and take pictures. ): nobody wanted to pose for me. anyway, that's all. i reached home pretty late. and next time we all shall go watch somemore. i think it's kinda worth it la. even though i almost fell asleep, and i could not smuggle in coke and fries.
