hah. i had my first official guitar lesson today and i so love it (: can't wait for the next one! every saturday! i was supposed to have my first official guitar lesson last saturday, but the teacher forgot, so he went home early. i protested when i heard my teacher was a male. i had wanted a female, but now that i got nelson as a teacher, i don't mind!!

a bit about nelson: if you remember, he's one of the top 30 in singapore idol. hurhur. he has a band - wait. TWO bands. he prefers chinese and cantonese songs ): and he's damn humourous la. he's a bassist, by the way. not a guitarist.

theory lesson was cool. even though he said it would be boring, but it wasn't, really! chords, frets, minors, majors, naturals, sharps, flats.

i learnt a bit in band. - A BIT only.

nelson says my fingers will hurt like shit. but i don't care. i wanna learn guitar and play like avril and marion and all the good guitarists in the world.

i wonder why there are no female guitar teachers. hmm. odd.

ahhhh! i can't help gushing, but he can play AVRIL LAVIGNE'S SONGS. and he sings darn well. what i would do to be like him...so daring, join s'pore idol.

and got in. damn judges. why they take him out?! that jerry person can't sing, and got booted off. he sings MUCH MUCH MUCH better than jerry )):

i think that carrying the guitar around is oh-so-cool. i see people looking at me with respect. (okay, whatever. it's like i get this pride from toting my precious little guitar around. especially around guys cos they think girls can't make it. well, fuck you. GIRLS CAN. it's whether they want to or not.) i stand up a little straighter, i walk a little slower (so people can admire my guitar la). okay, i walk a bit faster, actually.

but the guitar is so effing cool.
